The music in Main Street has change from pop music to ragtime styled music. It definitely changes the atmosphere of Main Street. Small changes like these make huge differences. Hopefully they do the same with the Gold Coaster’s queue as the ride is themed to circa 1970s Gold Coast yet it currently plays modern day pop music.4 points

Meanwhile i'm just impressed with the excavator operator not only wading through at least a foot of water, but also balancing the tracks on the unsecured rocks as it tries to not accidentally run into raised rampways.2 points

I'm sure someone does. I also assume you mean for Big Dipper. One issue is to get good photos mean you have to go hunting. Those in the know exactly know the only two locations you can view big dipper but one has a massive advantage over the other. Give it time and I'm sure someone will get much better pictures.2 points

Would be good if they tried to sell some of the old signage/boats and stuff like that. I'm sure there are many folks out there who wouldn't mind that sort of an addition to a man cave etc. Would make them seem a little bit desperate if they started selling chunks of conveyor belt though...1 point

Something DW could do is: Sell collectible items from the ride enclosed in something like the picture. They could be items such as a 5cm square of the conveyor belt, a smaller cut from a wooden beam in a memorable part of the ride, that sort of thing. If they had a set of say 4 items from parts of the ride, they could sell the set for a hundred or two, and make a little bot of money.1 point

Tower of Terror once had a zone outside. Sky Voyager also had a zone at one point but was phased out when I redid all of the content. From memory Corroboree has three. ICP also has its own AV. Point is, putting in additional zones is pretty cheap compared to most AV costs, the real question is why.1 point

Gaining nothing for whenever I drop in to the Gold Coaster, I try my best to select, queue and play songs that bring back memories from that time period. Unfortunately, those very songs play throughout the entire area of Ocean Parade via themepark speakers...1 point

I just wanted to say thank you for putting links to the rides you're talking about. And the same to everyone on here that does that. I don't have the seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of rides and manufacturers that a lot of you do, so having the context makes everything much better. Yes, I know it's not hard to highlight the ride name and hit search, but you've saved me a small bit of effort, and I appreciate it.1 point
