unless we're getting an indoor coaster, the coaster will take less time. DD is building an entire precinct, all new buildings, complete wall wrap\paints. Coasters - look at SE as an example - sure it has a great theme, but a lot of it is outside and speed.

No chance of the rocking lift, simply not possible/feasible. I'd be against projectors in favour of scenic and simple lighting/smoke effects. Something that's easy and cheap to maintain has a much better chance of longevity. The peppers ghost boxes need to be restored though cause right now they may as well just be a screen. The sets need re-lighting again and the image needs to stay on all the time in black so you don't see the video start/stop.

The wait will be worth it.

I agree with you @Theme Park Girl, The comments on the photo seem to suggest that it was an older photo, more than likely from last year. It is way too early for them to be filming right now.

Why is it people always assume overweight people are only overweight due to food? I'm obese and all of my weight has been put on through different medications that I have been on since the age of 13. I guess according to djrappa I'm a "fatass" but through no real fault of my own. I did Disney a couple years ago without a scooter but will probably need a wheelchair the next time I go to DW which will be whenever my partner from overseas finally moves to Australia. Why all the negativity towards fat people on here? Especially when some people have gotten fat through things out of their control. I am on five different medications now. I would like to know which of my life saving medications you would like me to come off so I can fit into your perfect world of "not being a fatass riding a scooter"?

Exactly, there are a small portion of people who can't help it and are genuinely disabled. Which is why they have the relevant medical certificates for those conditions and can use special entry and so forth. Of course I'm not going to be having a go at someone who has no control over their unfortunate condition. But as Alex B said, that is the minority. And it's exactly those that "can't walk" when it suits them that disgust me. And then you look at what they are turning their children into too, that's really sad. Then you have the other group that have a minor condition and then use that as an excuse to give up and take the easy route. I'm sure a couple of you above would love to be able to run around and get the weight off if you could when others are like "oh well I won't try now cause I can take this easy option and society will pay for it." America doesn't understand the word No, fortunately Australia isn't like that.

Do you think the post is a hoax or that it was taken from last year but they just decided to post it now? They would of had to of signed a confidentiality clause which would prevent them from revealing anything OR posting anything on social media.

I think the confusion over the price tag is being caused because there is an 's' on the end of it ie. Plural, meaning more than one? I have to admit I assumed he meant multiple hundred millions because of that 's'.

Quite a few actually... I had to have surgery a few years back where I ended up off work for several months, 4 surgeries in total, in and out of intensive care, blah, blah, blah... One byproduct was a few medications (some on that list) and due to removal of some tissue and an organ or two my body is no longer able to handle any fats, sugars or dairy as it would have previously. I have changed my diet to allow for this but I still have put on almost 30kgs in the last 3 years... I have seen dieticians, personal trainers, etc and there is little short of gastric bypass that I can do... It breaks my heart as my little Mr 4yo is 15mm from riding Scooby Doo and I can't go on it with him... He has to go on all the rides he likes with my wife while I stand there feeling terrible especially since when he was first born I was going on these rides...

I was on steroids for three years for life threatening asthma and was not allowed to exercise due to the life threatening asthma part. Then I went on the contraceptive pill which made me put on twenty kilos. Doctors demanded I come off it as soon as my husband left so I wouldn't gain any more weight. Then the hormone shots I'm on for DPD and hormone imbalance as well as antipsychotics make you gain weight too. I don't mind answering your questions so don't feel bad about asking. I answer any genuine questions People just need to be aware that there are illnesses and medication that can cause weight gain and not just through poor diet. It's why I have low cholesterol and optimum blood pressure- cause my weight has not been caused through bad diet. If it makes people more aware that there are people like me with their weight gain out of their control then that partly makes all nine of my illnesses worth it.

Re the idea of a coaster on the island, it may be difficult for a few reasons. -Environmental overlays on the site, habitat destruction etc. -Difficulty in getting piling rigs and other construction equipment onto the site -Proximity of the ride to the wildlife area. I'm sure the island conjures up images of a coaster darting through the trees, but the challenge I think would be trying to gain access to the site without knocking a large number of said trees down.

Movie-World, Sea-World... Dream-World. We were built from a dream to have an Australian style Disney inspired park. Something to be much loved, by many, for many different reasons. The direction is to remain an Australian Celebration, which is why we have started with the Corroboree project. To celebrate all elements of Australia with some theatrics. Direction and plans, identity discussion can go on for days and are all part of bigger strategies. At the end of the day, all those memories you had of Dreamworld when you were a kid, that become treasured memories are the same ideals driving us today. Hey, I touched on Lego above. Cub Kindy will remain an activation space but the cubs will become part of Tiger Island when their real home reopens.

The Westfield Development has been in limbo for a long time, with as recently as yesterday getting a little more solid movement, so many things are still on the table around that site. Possibly, we have people dedicated to looking at new technology all the time. Have you tried it? If not in-sync with the ride it is not a wonderful (read nauseating) experience but technology moves quickly so that brings me back to, possibly! And as a business we would be looking for return on investment so I dare say there would be a hire fee involved. not much chance of that, no. Hi, Blue Lagoon was mostly closed down to focus on opening a full sized water park rather than a few slides and a pool. The house is a shell, and not really a house so that has mostly gone. The Studios future has two ways to go, and since not yet within the project list could change so the nest answer I can give there is, of course we wish to expend to include those areas at some point in time. The Paddle Wheeler could only come back as a ghostly version of itself I am afraid. Would the Bush Ranger Show come back? No, bringing it back would never be the same. We now try to bring new street entertainment to the park each peak period to keep it fresh and more on trend (Dreamworld trend). The sheep shearing show now has our farm animals. I think it is time for another visit. Perhaps post September when Tiger Island reopens. Phew... I think I got them all. I am going to Screamworld tonight :-) I am a bit sad about Buzz and TOTII not being up for it but Kenny is a chicken anyway.
