Now, you all know i'm no fan of Push... but I have to say - he did. I do kinda feel like you've misunderstood his intention because you read the first sentence, and didn't continue, but looking at it again: Followed by: You focussed on his initial statement without the rest of his post. I read it i think the way he intended, and i understood what he meant just fine. To reword it - "at first, it gives the impression they've got great queues and not much else, but then came...." Anyway - you've given him a hard time for explaining things poorly, which he does at times, which is probably why we all give him such a hard time, but in this case i don't think he is to blame for the misunderstanding...2 points

But at least WWW has been receiving some love and they are repainting their slides. WnW has changed very little in 6 years2 points

I'm still confident that Greg actually owns the Hyper and that we'll see him back up his car and tow it up the M1 to Dreamworld any day now2 points

Saw this a couple of days ago & immediately thought of DW -imagine this in the old Wipeout space: Thoughts?1 point

A few Spin N Spews are ok as fillers but this shouldn't be the goal of a theme park...... DW has overstepped the limit on is it a theme park or is it the Easter Show.1 point

It's a no from me, in my mind I like to see DW only have quality rides like it did when I was a kid *Ignores reality that the rides that were there when I was a kid included a gravitron, enterprise and roulette wheel; this thing would totally fit in*1 point

That’s not true. Plenty has been happening at WNW! Wet n Wild Buggy opened, Mach 5 closed, Wet n Wild Buggy closed.... What do you mean nothing has changed at WNW?1 point

If you take a helicopter at night, does it count as a dark ride?1 point

I was joking in reference to the clear safety barriers surrounding the centre, because I know if I rode that, they would be getting a fair splattering for sure1 point

Let it be noted @AlexB he agreed with me. I didn't agree with him.1 point

Nobody finds you funny. Nobody understands what you consider to be humour. I can't believe we're back to the same topic again - but if one person doesn't understand and another does, that's their problem. But if nobody understands - that's your problem. I'd love to debate this with you, but it's friday, and as most know, i don't visit Parkz much on weekends, so if you feel compelled to respond, ignore the above and just read the below: Oh sod off.1 point

Now who isn't reading for understanding and misquoting because they've taken a single thing out of context? In the world of advertising, "copy" is basically the text of the ad. One of these days i'll learn to just let you fall. I don't know why I bother.1 point

Then you should write your post as such. I think what's really exceptional about this new attraction is Tokyo DisneySea have demonstrated that you can actually apply an exceptional vision/theme/basis that works well with the ride experience AND (as it turns out) you can actually market flying rides well. It's classic Oriental Land Co. to a tee - take whatever's in the Imagineering Catalogue and turn it up to eleven. Also, who would've thought Soaring would've opened before Sky Voyager?1 point

I was pretty clearly referencing the last line there in regards to the extended downtime, which Wild West Falls went through post Thunder River Rapids incident. Suffice to say, most of the changes during that extended downtime aren't guest-facing and were in light of the incident, hence why @pushbutton would be confused. Agreed though, West is in desperate need of love - now that Scooby has been defiled changed, West is easily the front-runner for the country's best themed ride.1 point

Would they get a decent model from one of those companies for $20 million though? Let's face it, they have to have something that will at least match DCR currently & that will be as interesting at launch as Leviathan at SW is expected to be. An RMC Raptor model might be good as a future replacement for HWSW, but I'd be thinking they need something bigger - and bigger usually means bigger bucks. If they've freed up as much as has been reported by some (figure I saw was $80 million), they may want to up their budget a bit to around 30 mill & go all out with something that can really take on VRTP. Just an opinion, mind you...1 point

WWF has so much potential especially in the old town portion, some awesome animatronics would be cool even in the final lift hill with a standard of Knott's Berry Farm Log Ride. Shame our themeparks can't achieve that level of detail yet.1 point

I have waited a long time for this huge announcement about the wacky worm coaster.1 point

I'll be happy if he pulls out his baby microphone to announce it.1 point

If it's the same company that does them at the Sydney Show, the $2 toasties will be most likely raised to $3 for this years show 😥1 point

This is not a reliable method. They should try using condoms.1 point

When I worked in a theme park overseas operating a roller coaster I can confirm that it happens more frequently than you probably think. During peak periods it can happen daily, but once every few days was pretty standard.0 points
