Alright kids Update time! AndrewH was banned from DW after the incident where he got into Eureka. A couple years later, DW let it go and lifted the ban. AndrewH can now visit the park if he so chooses. Tower is operating as much as they can get it to. It's main problem is that it keeps parking itself half way up the tunnel and they have to winch it back home and reset it. I was at the park from 11am today and managed to get 12 rides, including the final ride for the day at 5pm. It went down often but the amount of time it was open and taking guests today was definitely longer than it was down for. Two maintenance staff are also now stationed in the control booth just to keep an eye on tower and get it back up and running when it loses track of the car again. Also, when it's open, they are trying to pump through as many people as they can. It didn't operate at all yesterday and only half the day on Monday. I managed to get so many rides in because the ride was fairly reliable today and when it went down, I stayed around the entrance area for when it would reopen. So if anyone else if hoping to get some more rides in before the final send off on the weekend, persistence and patience is key.

Well it wasnt “removed” as such, it was stopped and probably to do with the projector i’d assume and at the time not seeing an adequate return on investment opportunity. on that subject, there will be no projector as Bikash has confirmed it will be a “HUGE” LED screen

I feel like the labour intensive nature of walkthrough attractions like this would be prohibitive - it'd be relegated to seasonal operation in off peak times, which in turn would make it hard to retain good cast... i do like the idea, but sadly i don't think it'd work at a village park.

Again. What are people hitting their ears or heads on when riding Arkham? It hasnt had the over the shoulder vekoma restraints since the refit, its literally just webbing now. If people are complaining about being jolted around when comparing it to something like superman or even dc rivals; age of the ride (so its design and manufacture) removed, its a totally different ride. Its not designed for air time hangs, its designed for speed and force. Youre going to feel differently going through that many inversions even if it wasnt built using technology from nearly 30 years ago.

You should never be allowed into DW again. Just saying. @Mc coaster You can vomit all you want and Skeet don't give a flying flock of sheep. It's people like @Andrewh that forces DW to put a roofs on Log rides. @Andrewh still doesn't get it as long as he displays his trophy photo in his profile.

I'm going to try not to hijack the thread for much longer - but first, a clarification - @Flynn_Smith I owe you an apology - although you've negged quite a few people for things that I personally think are questionable, I had you and someone else mixed up in terms of the 'gross-level' of reactions you were giving out. I am sorry for the confusion. As for reactions, I think this sums it up best: Share your words, don't just communicate in emojis. If you like what someone has said, but have nothing to add, by all means hit that like button. If you don't like what they've said, explain your point of view to further the conversation, and perhaps give other people your perspective.

Hi! My fiancee and I are currently planning our trip to Walt Disney World in Florida for our Honeymoon in September 2020. We have booked most of our accommodation, plus tickets and flights. I am wanting to hear suggestions/tips/strategies - basically, anything you like about how to navigate the parks and our time there. We are starting with 3 nights at universal, then 4 nights at Port Orleans Riverside, 8 nights at B Resort, and then 2 nights in a moderate or deluxe resort (the only bit we haven't booked). We found an awesome deal on a 14-day park-hopper, so we have the ability to jump between parks. Both of us have never been to the U.S, so any help is greatly appreciated

Went on it Saturday, sat next to a family of four who hadn’t been on it before. They went from “I don’t see how watching a screen will be much fun” to genuinely enjoying it within seconds of it starting. Seems to get rave reviews on FB. Loading was very slow though.

It may be a WB film, but I don't think a Fantastic Beasts attraction will be built at MW any time soon given Universal already has the theme park rights to HP locked down, wouldn't be surprised to hear Fantastic Beasts is also tied to Universal in the same way as HP considering it is heavily rumoured for Epic Universe.

When Arkham eventually closed down, I feel like a RMC raptor should replace it, say Arkham closes in 2021, then the new Raptor opens 2022, exactly 5 years from when DC Rivals opened, this would give the park a strong top 3 with good supporting coasters (just my opinion)

I'd like to see a permanent walk-through Scare attraction for the area, like Universal Hollywood has done with the Walking Dead Maze. MW has already spent a few $$ on Animatronics etc for the hugely successful IT maze. Seems to me like a no brainer to throw a few hundred thousand more at IT with a larger, more permanent setting while getting a fantastic new Major Attraction for a fraction of the cost.

Hey @Skeeta firstly I rarely negatively react on people posts. If that was a intended as a joke then i’ll happily remove my reaction but if you really mean that (which is why I reacted that way) it stays because to me that’s just not very nice. Sure he did something wrong a while ago but he has apologised and I am assuming that he has learnt his lesson. Correct me if I’m wrong but as I’m aware he was banned from dreamworld for a while and that was eventually lifted and he was forgiven so why can’t we leave him alone. Again I have no problem with a joke but to me that just was a little bit rude.

To be fair, if I didn't like something that was approved and implemented by VRTP, I would leave a comment advising of such. I've heard rumbling to this effect. Bringing Dive in Movies back included in admission, with rides open after dark for the run of the school holidays (Not one week, not 2 weeks, but from boxing day till the weekend before school goes back. It's not a new slide, but if it happens, to me it would be a massive sign that the Tim & Bob short sighted decision making era is behind us and things are looking up.

And what is wrong with that??????????? We were having a conversion which involved theme parks. If you don't like what we are talking about and it doesn't interest you , catch a bus and move on .
