I simply provided an example of how my car only took three months. I didn't dispute the 18 months statement, or belittle @Naazon for what they said in providing their point of view. I was just providing my personal experience and contributing to the conversation about shipping delays. Given your background @Naazon, that's interesting to know, much worse than I think the consumer is hearing on the ground. I appreciate the information. Hyundai i30 @Gazza - apparently they stock piled chips at the start of covid and were able to get through the downturn in chip production better than other manufacturers.

Got mine within three months of ordering, new build.

Green Snake. They seem to use quite simple names. -
Dreamworld is cane gauge 2ft - 605mm. Queensland Rail operates 3ft6in - 1067mm

My understanding it it falls under an amusement ride, not a railway. Doors/gates could be simple mag locks, like apartment/office building front doors. Operator releases, guests actuate. Operator locks, manually checks each one. Simple and low voltage.

Hopefully be a bit easier on the abomination.

Any further activity where the new points went in?

Certainly looked like it. Unless whatever is planned next now requires that space? (pure speculation)

Maintenance road/shed on the old TOT2 route perhaps?

Madagascar or Motocoaster? Madagascar seems like an odd location for a set of points to me.

Everything is quieter this year. Mrs went via DFO Airport to drop friends to their flight yesterday at lunch time. Normally struggle to park there. She said it was a ghost town. Plenty of reports of very low shopping numbers, people are minimising their time in public at the moment given how covid is spreading so freely now. No doubt the parks are seeing the same.

Yeah, row 10 is definitely worth the wait.

Bluey is a licence to print money at the moment. The fan base is huge and passionate.

As abhorrent as the suggestion is, they could follow the ginger factory's method and put an engine in the tender

"Gunzels", and it's working based on what I've seen on Facebook.

Cosmetic restoration only. Probably all it will get. I don't know any goss, but I suspect it's in need of a new boiler or major cylinder works. With these things, once you start down the rabbit hole of fixing one issue, many others raise their head. In more positive news, the Perry held pressure during its cold boiler test over the weekend, so the various little leaks are sorted. Slow progress but still progress.

The initial push to get moving has some force, from there it's constant, smooth and not at all as intense as Superman. Which, on that note, I thought LSM's needed a moving object to accelerate and not a stationary one? Steel Taipan is stationary at launch and no kicker wheels I could see. Have they solved that issue?

Couple of minor ones in the back of 20 seater train, jolting feeling too like the rear carriage is pushing the one in front of it sideways in the corners towards the end too. Bit rough at the back but nothing significant (certainly not AA rough). I do like the onboard LED that confirms the harnesses are lowered enough to lock - great time saving device.

Switch track and launch operation.

It's a terrible ride, every one needs to stay away ๐ Seriously, DC Rivals has some very serious competition in the thrill rides now. The backwards bit seemed like a gimmick, but the kick when the power comes on and you head up the spike!

Got the day off and approval from a higher authority (missus) so I'm heading down by myself for a few rides today.

Nope.
