I won’t hear a bad word about Red Rooster.

it’s a fabulous institution of culinary delights

Look a classic quarter is a thing of beauty. I'd use caution when exploring the menu beyond that. Having said that, the worst thing on the menu (Rooster Roll) is also one of the most delicious things you can get anywhere. You just don't buy it when you're awash with self respect is all.

I can microwave my own food at home thanks.

but for real. The only good things at RR are anything fried (chips, chicken strips ect) everything else (even rooster rolls) are microwaved. Roast chickens are excluded too but Coles/Woolies/Costco ones are great and cheaper.

What I'm trying to say is I want to love Red Rooster but it always disappoints, and I know a lot about disappointing people.

My dad still calls it a Hawaiian pack to this day. He also still calls it Big Rooster and a quick Wiki search tells me that change happened in '92.

Researched way too much into this...

Peter Kailis invented theHawaiian pack and it changed names to trop pack when they replaced the banana with the extra pineapple from what I can find. No dates or years though, but the inventor still buys them to this day (when the article was written).
