Just to add from @Theme Park Girl post. The truck has just left, and there is a guy working on the electricals for the columns The containers even have shelters. And don't know if it's the contents weighr, or how much the container can hold, but it was 29,800kg on the door of the containers3 points

The entrance on Maint Street has been completed, and the wall inside the store has been removed and has a lego figure in front of it instead. And toilets outside the store are open, but the corner is yet to be completed3 points

I'll see what I can do. I'm sure with some persuasion I'll be able to get them to help me out. If not, we may have to get @Theme Park Girl kids to help dig a hole and tunnel underneath the containers and break in that way3 points

Why would DW do that when they don't even provide adequate staffing on the load/ unload platforms?3 points

Photos taken on Sunday (26/02/17) Wipeout's water jets (I don't know what else to call them) have been removed. These have been repainted: (Most likely done when the park was closed, just hasn't been noted until now) They added a small portable fan at the base of the stair section of the ToT queue recently. (Sorry that it's blurry, my camera doesn't much like... actually I'm probably just bad with the camera) New markers have appeared; there is also another one off-frame to the right, closer to the ToT tunnel. Probably nothing major. The only marking I could see, another had a lot of scribble on it, but nothing readable. Dronkey Flyers should be reopening tomorrow, however, this was how it looked on Sunday, All of the carriages have been repainted and are on pallets off frame to the left. It's been mentioned multiple times, but I have to say it again, I love this wall along the entry of Tower of Terror, but I wish they gave this ToT control room the same love.2 points

The containers that the ride parts will eventually come in aren't owned by Mack, the construction company nor Movie World. They're owned by the freight/logistics company who will deliver the containers and take them back once they're unloaded. These containers here today would certainly be rented or purchased for this shelter. Mack ships track/supports in open-top containers. When parts actually arrive it'll be pretty obvious.2 points

Could also be for keeping tools secure when not in use...2 points

A very large portion (something like a third) of the Movie World carpark is now being fenced off.2 points

@Theme Park Girl yea I saw that in the website as well. I'm pretty sure they have stuff inside and are related to the coaster some way or another. (not track or support pieces). Or could it even be shipping containers from village roadshow studios. Lols, like everyone I just want to know what's in those containers. I think I'll have a chat to my mate Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, they are great at solving mysteries. Or even better one of us should pitch a tent just outside the containers and wait for someone to open them; I would but it's a nine hour drive. @themagician @pushbutton @themagician any takers?1 point

And how long did it take you to work that out given the box of shelters sitting right next to them?1 point

Thanks for the pics @Theme Park GirlI have never seen a couple of shipping containers presented so beautifully!1 point

Have certainly never seen so many site offices/demountables for a single project at our theme parks before. Just goes to show the scale of what is being built1 point
-
I'm highly doubtful that this would be for anything else but the coaster. To far away to be for TG and someone who mentioned the hotel, I don't think that project is the parks focus, and I don't think it would be built in MWs car park surrounded my coasters. Also, site offices arrived this morning within the fenced off area in the car park1 point
-
And doing that would cause the ride to be shut during off-peak because they can't get the min number of staff.1 point

Why are you all thinking they need to announce before the track? youre talking about a tiny insignificant piece of their market in enthusiasts who are the only ones that care about track in a car park. The poeple they want to buy tickets as a result of this build will know nothing of the construction.1 point

Agreed, I'd much prefer a simple hypercoaster that does exactly what hypercoasters are meant to do than pushing the boundaries with spinning trains. They could make the ride potentially nauseating, and I am planning to ride this coaster a lot of times1 point

Do you really think a couple of dozen LEDs are going to put a dent in their electrical bill? White Christmas has over one MILLION lights. Oh - and the rides tend to chew a bit of power too. I'm sure we won't see lights on just yet - and if they install the fence toppers before the ride is revealed and the theme known, they can always just put a bag over them until they're ready - but I very much doubt that they'd not turn them on just because of electrical costs. they wouldn't even notice the increase. 196.8 ft1 point
