Constrictor for Wet 'n' Wild

I had a look at the zipline tower from Aqualoop. I'd say they'll easily have the room on that top deck to run both zipline and constrictor... it's not like Zipline has a 30 minute queue - people have to book timings, so 1 or 2 people every 5 or 10 minutes isn't going to be a big impact. I'm curious though - whether a raft conveyor will be installed here. If the cloverleaf rafts are similar in size to tornado, I think many would struggle to carry them up that long hill - not to mention if you've got a slow moving raft going up the ramp, the people heading for whitewater mountain will not be able to pass for much of the trip... here's hoping a conveyor is planned.

Based on the shape of the site, I doubt a conveyor would fit. You'd have to cut over the body slides and somehow through the ziplines. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Terror Canyon have a separate path to the body slides anyway? I believe you can see remnants of it running alongside the body slides' path near the top of the hill in the image below. post-2117-0-80296600-1347511576_thumb.pn

I was there today and there was heaps more of the slide done. It wouldn't surprise me if it was finished in the next couple of days (structure wise not finished finished). I think for the rafts they will be quite light compared to the tornado because of first there's only three seats, and second the tubes won't need to be as tough and thick as Tornado's because it is significantly slower and 'less extreme' if you get my drift.

It'd be nice to have some shade, but to be honest - the shadiest queue line in the park (Tornado) is absolutely freezing most of the time. needs a balance - maybe some shadesails, without TOTALLY covering the queue - so the shady area cools you down a bit, and then back into the sun to warm up. End of the day - who cares - it's another Aussie first, another great slide - to be honest - they don't need to considering WWW isn't competition, but they still did, replacing an old defunct slide that has sat SBNO for a few years - I'm loving the new direction taken by the VRTPs...instead of one park getting a new attraction every year, they've gone to new attractions for all parks.... hopefully their current business model allows them to continue it.
