There isn't anything wrong with a Facebook post which says 'Tom & Jerry are at Movie World from the school holidays. Hell Facebook is exactly the correct level to pitch that at. The problem is that even in presentations to the share market they talk about it like it's a big deal when it's really a total nothing.3 points

infinitely better not having that walkway blocked. Had no issue with the ride, it just had terrible placement3 points

I still think Blue Lagoon is unaffected. It does fit in the Thunder River Rapids' site though. Here is a to-scale layout map I've made: If it's wrong, it may need to be moved slightly towards the right and/or the twisted reverse halfpipe needs to be lengthened or redrawn. The show building seems to overlap the Dreamworld Express track/train shed regardless which may indicate not much theming or a lack of dark ride section. Does everyone think Dreamworld Express is unaffected? What does everyone think about how I drew the twisted reverse halfpipe? How accurate did I get it? Does anyone think it will head into the Big Brother Studios area? If is doesn't, well it seems they demolished it because the Big Brother House was burned down and they may have already made plans for it's demolition from their now cancelled plan for a new amphitheatre where this coaster is being built. This took me a while to get the Blue Fire layout in the position shown in the artist impressions with 100% accuracy so please don't criticize if it is slightly wrong.3 points

I think Push has finally lost the plot. The new slide announcement is the filler slide tower that WWW has needed and i'm so glad its here. Finally slides I won't need to use a tube for. Just because they are basic, doesn't mean they are bad.2 points

The good old bodyslide is underdone a great deal at waterparks. Bring back the days where is was ok to 8 chain a waterslide.2 points

^ Who doesn't love a Hot Air Balloon? - Besides, DW once featured one over their own Park logo.. (for those of us old enough to remember!) Maybe it's a nod to the past?1 point

Something something pure imagination1 point

Again, as said, the yellow track is only an indicative render. It is subject to change , DW have stated this themselves.1 point

Maybe because they are not Looney Tunes characters, so them joining the stable is a bigger deal? I dunno, I have no problem with it. MW has had recent large expenditure and SW is now the focus. VRTP’s results presentation due in the next week or 2 and maybe we’ll hear more1 point

This is probably the lamest thing Village Parks have done this year. Promoting 2 new Costume Characters as a Major Holiday draw? Not to mention Characters that are only well known by Children from generation X, Y at a pinch. Not exactly the Target audience here.1 point

Well a video is up, a full POV (sorry to steal your thunder here Slick). No surprises here, but this confirms it be going in TRRR and Eureka's spot and not where the Ampitheatre is being pulled down. It will be right next door to Buzzsaw. Something interesting I observed is that Hot Wheels is nowhere to be seen in the render, yet nearby rides in Ocean Parade like Claw can be spotted. Could it be end of the road for that coaster, facing the axe before TOT?1 point

The old saying "if it bleeds, it leeds" . Disappointed but not surprised that one of our many trash Newspapers are running such a negative Article in an attempt to flatten what would have otherwise been one of the most positive weeks for DW in years.1 point

Ahhh, those were the days...though I daresay I was lucky not to come away with some neck damage after slamming into a group blocking up the slide to build pressure more than once! I get the feeling there were a few operators at that particular park (the long gone Willows Water World, for any of you that may know it) that weren't too fond of a few of us unruly teenagers! Push: Why do people keep complaining that I say stupid things? Also Push: Constantly posts stupid comments, continuing the beat the horse that was already dead and buried and has now completely decayed.1 point

Great review as always from the writers at Parkz!! Having ridden Soarin" at Epcot in 2017, I am certainly interested to see how this ride stacks up to it. This article certainly answers that question quite well, but the proof will be in the actual riding. Soarin' was a major highlight of our entire Orlando trip ( one of many!!) and this ride will have to be extremely good to be even mentioned in the same breath as Soarin'. The queue and pre-show sounds entirely frustrating though- why cant our parks get this right? The template in Disney and even Universal is right there- and whilst it would be churlish to expect that high a standard - surely we can get a decent facsimile that just works and doesnt' feel "clunky". Certainly looking forward to riding this in January 2020- I think that being such a unique ride and Australian first, that this will be a sure fire hit for Dreamworld. With today's announcement's of investment in a new coaster and expansion at White Water World, perhaps Dreamworld can finally step out of the long shadow of the TRR tragedy . Today is certainly a good day to be a Dreamworld fanboy and I am sure that Village is sitting up and taking notice-which will be a good thing for the GC and the industry. Given the already large investment of DC Rivals and the previously announced Seaworld Atlantis expansion, we can all hope that this is another major step into further investment and expansion for the industry and the parks on a scale the likes of which havent been seen since the early to mid 90's. Bring it on!!1 point

Depends. If it's wooden seating rather than plastic, I think it needs some varnish very soon after it's installed. You're right though, not just yet.0 points
