Now this looks like a great lazy river. Doubt we will ever see it on our shores, but it certainly takes the idea to the next level!2 points

I remember making a Six Flags Australia park in RCT3 when I was like 14 or 15 years old. Too bad the hard drive I had that save on broke, because I'd happily look at what kid me thought was cool to put into a theme park. As for rides and attractions to add, pick any one of these Six Flags favourites. RMC Raptor S&S 4D Free Spin RMC Hybrid Ground Up Larson Super Loop (marketed as a 'coaster') Funtime Starflyer Zamperla Giant Discovery Insert Zamperla Flat Ride Here Justice League Dark Ride Clone Bonus points if any of these rides are named The Joker, Goliath, (Harley Quinn) Spinsanity, Skyscreamer or Wonder Woman. Good luck getting anything else. Six Flags is so hilariously cheap when it comes to their parks that you can literally guess what a park gets out of a list because they order a lot of clones.2 points

So this was just something i came up with on photoshop and i thought this could be a forum where you could have a say of what rides and attractions you would want to add to Six flags Australia and hope if i can with all your ideas create a park map of what it could look like if i have the time but let your imagination be loose and enjoy with this park Here are some other Six Flags logos i made on photoshop1 point

Yeah it looks good. Its very similar to the one at Volcano Bay. I would say that the the Fearless River at Volcano Bay seems to flow a bit faster? Not sure but thats how it looked to me. The lift hill at the end is interesting- and it a bit of a let down in some ways. I thought it was going to lead to a downward slide of some decsription that would splash back down into the river but it seemed a bit anti-climatic. Nice example though.1 point

So hilariously cheap? I think that is a bit of a misnomer. They certainly do not skimp on attractions- I dont think anyone would look at the ride line up at Six Flags Magic Mountain and call it "cheap". What they do miss out on is general theming and immersiveness that chains such as Disney and Universal prize so highly. Even SeaWorld Parks and Cedar Fair , overall , has general attention to detail and theming greater than most Six Flags. Its never been their strongpoint or even their purview. Thats not to say that they CANNOT produce highly themed attractions however, the quality of their rides is clearly undisputed. They certainly cannot be described as "hilariously cheap" IMHO.1 point

Youtuber Airtime Thrills uploaded this video yesterday. It’s definitely worth a watch if you need to catch up on all the measures which will be in place for universal to open.1 point

I think it would be a great idea to put in a Six Flags somewhere in Australia. I don't think the Gold Coast would be the best place as Six Flags is more of an regional park rather than an NATIONAL THEME PARK! OH MY GOODNESS THEY ARE THE CHOSEN ONE! Anyways, even though it would be a great idea, and a good investment in practice. But Six Flags is already having financial problems again and it is seeming like they are going to look for a new owner, most likely Warner Brothers. More information here: And even if they were not in financial difficulty, since the end of the 20th Century, nobody wants to invest in Australia because of the high wages of a minimum of $18.50 per hour! And you need usually for a big park like Six Flags over 500 people. And with all the other expenses, it would not be financially viable. Unless if the minimum wage went down, which of course NOBODY would like. They would all be protesting in the streets. Right next to parliament saying. "HIGHER MINIMUM WAGE, WE CAN'T AFFORD TO LIVE NEXT TO THE NOOIIISSE ANYMORE OF SILLY LUNA PARK!" That is what they would be chanting, and we really do not want that. So the foreseeable future, sadly no.1 point

I doubt any Australian park would install another freefloating vessel ride. Especially not DW. Any new ride like that would need to be on a rail or secured so the movement is mostly controlled. Macks new tracked water ride is a fantastic and versatile system but it's still in the early stages and hasn't even been signed off in their own country yet. That would be one of the biggest contenders for a ride that is anything like a rapids raft ride. Mack have had a few inquiries but haven't been able to promise anything concrete yet. With the Covid delays, it's likely we wont see this ride system for a few years at least unfortunately.1 point

It’s basic editing it only took 5 minutes of my time no biggy Not gonna lie but that’s probably true and I’m still confused how it’s the most liveable city in the world1 point

Better yet an Action River would be the superior option. TeAwa the Fearless River at Volcano Bay in Orlando is a fantastic attraction. This thing MOVES. We stayed on for about an hour , just going around and around- it is so much more than a lazy river. Would love to see this option at WWW. I would just love a water park in Australia to bring back one of these Mountain Cascade style water slides- this would be a unique and i think very popular slide. There used to be several examples of this type of slide in Australia, most notably at the Waterworks in Mt Druit and at Dreamworlds Blue Lagoon. If not WWW, then Jamberoo , Gubuaya World or Funfields would be an excellent option for this slide in mind. Here is a great example from Quebec in Canada.1 point

I have had some free time over the past few days and decided to have some fun. There is a lot of space around the back of WWW, but once it's gone its gone. Using the original Stage 3 expansion plans for WWW, there is still room for another 2 slide tower plots once HWSW is removed down the track. I also see a Suspended Roller Soaker coaster being a good fit (Zamperla roller coaster that allows you to soak people below with water guns) The main Slide tower at the back right could feature a ProSlide tower with a Tornado wall, Bowl alley and a UFO maybe? Along with an Adventure River, Kiddie splash pads and room for 2 more big slide towers. This also allows a prefect option to re do the back half of ocean parade. Remove Shockwave for a nice RMC Raptor and remove the whole Panda area. With Panda gone its perfect chance to build a dark ride themed around How to Train your dragon which will also have a retheme of Pandamonium to suit. Let me know what your thoughts are?1 point

Small rustic themed coaster, ideally something from the RMC stable to replace the phyical space Log Ride took up, and a standard Shoot the Chutes in Ocean Parade to replace the role of the Log Ride.1 point

I’ve read enough of his style of writing that I’m not even going to doubt that this is Bikash. It 100% is. For the record, regardless of any difference of opinion or personal feeling, having a VRTP park executive as a registered and contributing forum member is something we’ve called for for 15 years here. Putting personal feelings aside Bikash, I do hope you stick around on the forums to converse and discuss with others here. I’d very much like to have my personal opinions of you proven wrong, and I hope you’ve joined to engage with the community who love your parks as much as you appear to, and not just to have your rebuttals. while we know Parkz is watched by the local industry, a two way dialog is always better than an echo chamber, and hopefully you can be the start of a dialog the likes of Mark Shaw or The Real Belinda Brown. I guess time will tell. as an afterthought and somewhat on topic - can you tell us whether there is any hope of Fright Nights this year?1 point

Hi Alex, I understand your frustration. I can tell you one thing that we have zero control over what this site does or how they carry out their buisness. Richard I believe is the man, he is very strong in his views and that’s why I respect him and engage him when I can. Okay so a lot of people reached out to me, I had zero issue with anything being said here, the reason why I am here is to answer questions that people may have if I can without compromising myself. Hi There, unfortunately do I care no, but if someone does make deliberate and ridiculous statements then I will act on it by first talking to them and if it does not work then I will use legal avenues only to set the record straight. I have no issues in copping the heat but I do have an issue when there is false news being spread and people are being a bully. That is not on, I feel in many ways that I should eradicate bullying because I can. Hi Alex, it’s hard to say it all here. In a bit she’ll, I have not seen my kids grow up as I worked every single holiday and Christmas Day from morning to night as that’s who I am. The world thought my wife was a single mum. It was and still is hard as I don’t have much of a connection except I meet my responsibilities with the kids. It’s tough but I did this because I cared about the people I worked with and the guests and the industry. I am not looking for a pat on the back but I am still the person i was when I first started out, those same people still work in the buisness and they were the ones that trained me, btw they still clip me hard if I do something silly, and I am ok with that. I also understand that in my position, I walk with a target on my back and people will attack me and that’s ok. Saying this, if there is malicious content out there, and if it is bought to my attention, I will first talk to the person responsible and then do what i need to. If they are right then I will correct myself and accept the public outcry. Hope this helps mate.1 point

I would say the only part taken from the lagoon is the bit of already exiting sand1 point

The area that the Vortex is on has not reclaimed any land. Land has been reclaimed south from the lake for Leviathan1 point
-
@Whombex here you go “Lets hope this doesn’t effect the wooden coaster, Leviathan from opening in December 2020. I would expect construction to start in January at the latest, with it being such a complex build. It’s probably going to take 6-9 months for the build to be completed, depending on everything lining up correctly and it goes all to plan”1 point
-
I would imagine the construction company building the coaster would be different from the one doing Vortex. I would imagine Coaster construction will begin after the summer holidays. All of the SW website has been updated to say Vortex is coming this Summer1 point
-
If that’s the case, we might be saying delays with its opening. Depending on how smoothly the construction process is once it starts. But considering November is usually a very wet month, I’m sure there will be some delays1 point

Once the slab is down, I imagine it will only take a couple of weeks for the ride to be installed. And testing to begin soon after. It may seem tight with it now being October. I would imagine it will soft open mid Dec and official on Boxing Day1 point
-
This decision could be based off Dreamworlds announcements and they are trying to extend out the opening of their attractions. Also could be so construction can purely focus on Leviathan so it opens on time to compete with DWs new coaster1 point

That’s because they’ve been moved. They are now in the bushes to the right of the helicopter booth (just before you cross the bridge)1 point

The Kraken and gates have now been removed and all dolphins have been relocated from the lagoon under construction is complete And the whale shark has been removed too1 point

Do not fear! Your update is here. July 16th DC Rivals Hypercoaster Update. If I could've uploaded it earlier I would've. Comparison Shot 1 I told you the first hill would be visible through the loop! Went out there earlier today, airtime hill is coming together nicely. Also, as you'll see, the mystery of the missing beam has now been solved and what's in place has got a little chunk taken out of it. If you want to see more VSCO-ish artsy shots of construction, you know where to go.1 point

For those who want to see it: Nice they're doing incremental updates like this, but for the love of allah that mic situation needs to be rectified. I'm pretty sure there's a Rode mic for an iPhone and a DJI Osmo floating around somewhere... #elevateyourproduction #wouldlovetoseemoreengagement #goodjobsofar #justwantthebestitsnothingpersonal1 point
