They have however installed new shading (in the form of permanent umbrellas) over the outside queue area for Scooby since the trees have been removed/majorly trimmed.

Follows the typical village approach of 'it's already open so why spend more money on it'

I’m not sure what your point is in this topic. Are you exciting/supportive of Scooby returning along with the amount of other people commenting on MW’s recent post or just hating because it’s Village?

Did the Knights and the Reaper always look so "straight out the costume store Halloween aisle?"

These scenes probably haven't been touched thematically by this refurbishment. However, the fixed camera perspectives (compared to being seated in the moving ride vehicle), and the boosted lighting, do not showcase them very well. It looks cheap.

In what world would the theming not reference the 2002 film? It is rhetorical. The assertions' only purpose is shoving IP further down our throats.

(I know it's a typical PR reply and shouldn't be taken this seriously)

I don't believe the reply implies the screens remain unchanged. If they were the same, then why bother keeping them a "mystery." (I imagine they could just update the media and call it a day though)

If they've chosen to keep the screens, then I look forward to December 😋 It'll be a rough BGH summer!!!

I suggest going back and rewatching the scene. I see this as meaning they're bringing more of the films ride back into this ride, and not using screens to create an AU retelling.

I wish the people at Village that are responsible for the socials would proof read before posting.

"two of screens"

It happens a lot, and it's cringe.

Yes, there was a typo, it happens and it seems they had fixed it since this screenshot was taken. But let’s be honest, all you seem to do is consistently comment just to nitpick and drag the parks down without ever adding anything constructive to the conversation.

If your only contribution is negativity, then you’re not here for discussion, you’re just here to hate. That says more about you than it does about a small typo.

Anyway, back on topic:

Do we think the new stunt show will open this December when Scooby reopens?

It shouldn't happen. They pay people good money to manage their social media. They are a professional multi-million dollar business who are the "leaders" in their category. Posts shouldn't have typos or grammatical errors.

It's not Bob from around the corner looking for lawns to mow on a community page.

Amusingly, it seems they had fixed it after I pointed it out on Parkz.

Let's be honest, You recently challenged me on my comments and I gave you a very thorough written response which despite numerous others in the community positively reacting to, you had absolutely no comeback for.

One doesn't have to scroll far back on your profile to see you've got a very negative slant towards Dreamworld and a very positive one towards Village roadshow, so if you're not employed by village then you're at the very least drinking the kool-aid.

I will admit that my commentary of late has been very negative towards Village Roadshow, but I do not think that my comments are undeserved. They are of course only an opinion, but I like to think that I go into sufficient detail to support my positions. When either park fucks something up I will call them on it. And when they do great things, I will also support them.

There are times when both parks do the same thing, and I will flame Village, but give Dreamworld a pass - but that, in my opinion, is less about which park I favour, and more about which company seems to be trying to be better. Dreamworld is coming from the underdog position, but their efforts in park presentation, staff attitude and similar 'experiential' metrics show me that they're working on being better, so yes - on some issues, they get a pass while village doesn't - and thats because village have shown they don't care about those things and aren't working on being better in those experiential situations.

I'll own my comments, and i'll admit if I've gotten something wrong - but don't come on here accusing me of nitpicking and dragging the parks down when your own profile shows just how biased you are - and that says more about you...

No you're not the socials guy? No you yet again have no comeback for the detailed response i've given in response to calling me out? No you're not responding to being called out for your own biases?
