themagician 2,660 Report post Posted May 13, 2017 On my way home at around 4. I saw the gondola on the western side go up the Giant Drop, stay up there for its usual time, and the drop. I couldn't see if people were riding it, but maybe it has reopened. Can anyone confirm it's reopening?

MaxxTheMonster 472 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 On topic... For the last few weeks diring the drive home the West side has been slowly getting moved up and down the tower... Is it possible that work on this is the reason TOT2 is closed and issues keep moving that date around?
themeparkaddict 118 Report post Posted June 11, 2017 I was there yesterday and only the west side was operating. TOT seems unrelated, as I was told it was an operational issue with the launch mechanism.

I mean this with no morbidity - did you look much at the TRRR site, or just enjoy the view that the west side has always dished up?
themeparkaddict 118 Report post Posted June 13, 2017 I had a look a few days ago up the giant drop. Not a change in the TRR site at all.

Glubbo 466 Report post Posted June 13, 2017 Just now, Slick said: It's tough to look away. Totally understandable. If you were on the right seat, is the old BB house still visible to the north?

If DW's facebook page is to be believed... A few weeks ago someone asked about Blue Lagoon, the Ampitheatre and the Big Brother house... They replied that the external structure is still there but once it was confirmed the show was cancelled (for the second time), the production company removed the internal fittings... Basically it is now just a big shed...
